During my time working for BitAll Force, my primary role was that of a Concept Artist for the first two months.
The first assignment that was given to me was to write a short story based on the previously selected urban legend of "LA MANSIÓN ERICKSON," a legend of Mazatlan origin & very popular in the city.


Along with the story, I was commissioned to create an illustration/sketch to accompany the narrative of the legend.
For the illustration, I was inspired by the story of the fall of the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah, & how God came down from heaven to destroy those sinful places.
The director of the video game was excited about the illustration.
After completing the short story & having it approved by the team, I was asked to create conceptual sketches of the fountain & then create a 3D model that would serve as an asset for the video game.
The fountain was chosen as the object to be modeled because of its relevance to the story I wrote.

The first concept for the fountain is based on the nine circles of hell from Dante Alighieri's novel "The Divine Comedy."

The second model is based on the Satanic cross, & I chose to give it a more industrial aesthetic.

Following the industrial aesthetic, the third concept is based on the carousels commonly seen at fairs.

The fourth concept is a blend of industrial and artisanal, with the fountain made entirely of stone, but with metal mechanisms inside.

The fifth concept is based on the story surrounding the "Tower of Babel."
Concept number three was selected to be used in the creation of the 3D model.
But first, I was asked to make a change to the texture/pattern printed on the fountain.

After completing this, I was given the green light to begin the 3D modeling of the selected fountain.
The model was created entirely in Blender, & the texturing process was done in Substance Painter 3D.
The textures made have a maximum resolution of 4K & a minimum of 2K.
