PRE - PRODUCTION
The idea of making this short film came to my mind while watching the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen, specifically Shibuya's Incident Arc.
I was curious about transferring the events of that arc to a more "realistic" aesthetic & emphasizing the atmosphere of suspense that had already been built on the show.
PRODUCTION
The production phase began on November 4, 2023.
My main reference when it comes to maintaining a style was this video uploaded to YouTube by Jump Channel.
While making the short film I accompanied myself with music from both the Jujutsu Kaisen anime & songs that evoked an atmosphere similar to the one I sought to represent in the final video.
POST - PRODUCTION
I took the production and post-production phases practically at the same time because every time a scene was finished rendering in Blender I passed it to DaVinci Resolve & adjusted it to maintain coherence with the previous scenes.
The short film officially ended on November 27, 2023.
